Pilot controls are now standard and available in either “H” or ISO patterns. A new cab with standard suspension seat offers improved visibility and ergonomics. The new CX80 excavator from Case Construction Equipment combines the power of a full-size excavator with the flexibility of a compact. The CX80 features a center-swing boom. The versatile swing-boom can be positioned anywhere within a 130 degree arc. A powerful machine with arm digging forces of up to 8,610 lbs and bucket digging forces of 12,792 lbs. The Case CX80 model features engine power of 52 net horsepower (39kW), and a tight swing radius of 1.63 m for performance in even the most cramped quarters. The standard back fill blade allows an operator to dig a trench along a foundation, position a pipe and back fill with one versatile machine the "Case CX80".

The new 590 Super M Series 3 features a Case Family IV engine with Tier III certification, as well as improved performance and serviceability. The electronic engine with high pressure common rail injection improves cold starting and fuel efficiency. The Case 1650K crawler dozer delivers 140 horsepower (104 kW), 428 lb-ft of torque (580 N-m) and 118 inches (2990 mm) of track on ground. Ample blade capacities range from 4.1 yd3 (3.2 m3) on the 1650K to 7.4 yd3 (5.6 m3) on the 1850K. The machine features advanced hydraulics and steering which makes for smooth operation, whether doing heavy dozing or finish grading.
